For this week's blog, I am going to take the opportunity to describe my experience of attending Jerry Brown and Gavin Nascom's rally at the Event Center today.
Most of the advertisements Jerry Brown pays for on television put down Meg Whitman. Jerry Brown's ads point out how Meg Whitman has not voted in the last how many elections, etc. I find it interesting that at his rally he emphasized why Meg Whitman should not be governor and not why he should be.
In comparison, Nascom pointed out his accomplishments in San Francisco to emphasize why he should be lieutenant governor.
Both men have been using advertising on television and in print to garner support.
The link here is a print ad by Jerry Brown.

The poster uses crisp colors and fonts. It is appealing and legible which is key in making any sign or poster. To quote the poster "Let's get California working again." With working underlined in red, emphasizes that Brown expects to change California for the better.
During and at the end of the rally those who attended received large posters in support of Nascom and Brown. This was yet another way they gained support by providing means for others to show their support.
